Welcome to the Services Privacy Notice (this “Notice”) of Kubico, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” “Kubico”).

Kubico provides products, services, and tools to su port audience management, identity, data collaboration, and data monetization services (our “Services”) to our business customers (and their customers) and data partners.

Our services may facilitate the delivery of personalized marketing, advertisements, and content to you by publishers and advertisers. We may also provide solutions to help business customers connect individual preferences across various devices, and enable them to extract value from personal data they collect.

Some of our Services can be enabled through AdTech and MarTech platforms (for example, Adobe Connections Manager). In cases where our Services are provided through such platforms, this Notice applies; however, those platforms may also collect personal data from you, in which case the privacy policies of those platforms will apply.

Scope of this Privacy Notice

This Notice describes how Kubico collects, uses, discloses, and protects any personal data we process in connection with our Services.

Kubico does not generally interact directly with individuals, and as such, this Notice applies only to Kubico’s processing of your personal data in connection with the Services provided to our business customers and data partners.

This Notice does not apply to:

  • Use of Kubico’s Corporate Websites. If you are looking for information on how Kubico collects and uses personal data in connection with visitors to our website (kubico.com), please view our Corporate Website Privacy Notice.
  • Employment or Contractors. This Notice does not cover our processing of personal data in connection with employment by Kubico or contractors that do business with Kubico.
  • Services Provided as a Processor or Service Provider. This Privacy Notice does not apply to services provided by Kubico while acting strictly on behalf of a business customer as a processor, service provider, or third party.

Processing of Personal Data as a Processor, Service Provider, or Third Party

When Kubico provides its business customers with Services, we may act as a processor, service provider, or third party under applicable data protection laws. Under these circumstances, the processing of your personal data is ultimately subject to the privacy policy(ies) of our business customers.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Kubico may collect and process the following categories of personal data, depending on the Services used by our business customers and partners:

  • Identifiers: such as cookie IDs, device IDs, IP addresses, or hashed email addresses.
  • Behaviors: non-sensitive demographic and statistical information, browsing activity, and inferred interests or preferences.
  • Commercial or Transactional Information: interactions with digital properties.
  • Geolocation Data: non-precise location information derived from IP addresses.
  • Log Data: internet or electronic network activity information.

How We Collect Personal Data

We may use automated technologies, such as cookies, pixels, and tags, to collect information when you interact with digital advertisements or visit a website or app of a partner that has implemented our technologies.

Data may also be provided by partners through secure APIs or file transfer mechanisms.

Collection of Personal Data of Minors

Kubico does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. We require our partners not to provide us with such data.

Automated Processing and Decision Making

Kubico may use proprietary analytics and machine learning to enhance Services, such as audience segmentation, measurement, and personalization.

We do not use personal data to train public/open-source AI systems.

We do not use personal data to make decisions that have legal effects on individuals’ rights (e.g., employment, financial services, healthcare).

Kubico may share personal data with:

  • AdTech / MarTech platforms
